About us

Richard and Sandee Gerber started Twin Rivers in 1977 as a family owned and operated business. They originally met when they were in the same math class at Willamette High School. Richard and Sandee are lifelong Oregon residents who have always been active in the day to day operations of their growing business. Today, the Gerbers run the day to day operations of this multi-million dollar business from headquarters in Eugene.

A local plumbing company in business
for more than 35 years

Twin Rivers Plumbing has grown to be a very successful corporation with sales that exceed $12-million per year. They have attracted the best 40 Journeyman Plumbers and Pipefitters in the area, along with energetic apprentices. Twin Rivers Plumbing has an Stamp issued by the State of Oregon for welding on boilers and pressure vessel systems. We currently have four employees that are qualified full-time welders.

Estimators have more than 60+ years experience in the field of mechanical estimating, and project management. The progressive business comes full circle with an efficient office staff. Excellence in service is the key to the company's success, the Gerbers say. The company is currently working on several projects simultaneously.

Richard Gerber was a plumber and then decided to go into business. He is still a licensed journeyman plumber, which gives him a hands-on approach to solving problems and preparing design-build projects. Sandee manages the business' office operations. She says, "Now after 35 years we still enjoy every day of the business."

Today the company is the largest plumbing company in the mid-Oregon area and also handles numerous projects in Central Oregon.

Our Personnel

Dick Gerber-Owner
Dick's 47 years of experience in the plumbing industry proves invaluable on every project. After 35 years of ownership, Dick still remains involved with the daily operations of Twin Rivers Plumbing. He leads the estimating department and is familiar with all aspects of estimating, project management, design build and often provides value engineering information. He takes personal interest in all projects and frequently visits the job sites to address issues and monitor the manpower so the project stays on schedule.

Dick enjoys collecting classic cars, 50-60 memorbilia, pedal cars and Nascar. He likes to attend NASCAR races and spend time at the LaPine Cabin fishing with his family. Dick also enjoys relaxing in the sun at their condo in Mesa, AZ. As an avid Duck Fan, the fall is taken up with tailgating and games, as well as fitting in a Elk Hunting trip. He and Sandee are also members of the Late Great Chevy Club and have met some great friends over the past 30 some years.

Sandee Gerber, Owner
Sandee started Twin Rivers Plumbing along with Dick Gerber in 1977. She handles all Human Resource issues and maintains the Safety Program. Twin Rivers Plumbing prides itself on the excellent safety record and Sandee makes sure that field personnel are up to date on safety topics. Her knowledge of the construction industry is an asset on all projects.

Sandee enjoys attending Lane leaders and is active in the local chapter of Women In Construction. She has been an active member, serving as President of Lane Workforce Partnership for the past 10 years. She has also served on the OPC of the American Red Cross Board as well as the office of President. She is currently on the Construction – Utilities Career Day committee which offers a day for high school students a chance to participate in all kinds of hands on construction opportunities. Sandee enjoys time with her friends and family at their cabin in Lapine and Condo in Arizona. She loves “Chic Flicks", reading, and, of course, the DUCKS !!

Support Team

Shannon Moore, Controller
A graduate of University of Phoenix Business and Accounting, Shannon oversees the financial and reporting activities for TRP and has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, surety and insurance. Her background in the construction industry provides the foundation for tracking project costs in an efficient manner. When Shannon is not at work she can usually be found outside playing in the dirt, on the lake waterskiing or in the mountains snowmobiling.

Gerry Bush, Estimator/Project Manager
Gerry Bush has more than 27 years experience in the estimating arena. He is well versed in the complexities of bidding hospital contracts and is extremely accurate with take-off procedures. Gerry has successfully bid and project managed several hospital projects including, Sacred Heart Medical Center, Cottage Grove Hospital, and various Oregon Medical Group facilities. Gerry has extensive knowledge surrounding the design build process and is a solid team player.

JOHN ELDER, Project COORDINATOR
John Elder started at Twin Rivers Plumbing as an apprentice more than 22 years ago. He has worked as a general foreman plumber on many large projects over the years. He recently joined the office staff as the Project Coordinator. John bids small commercial projects and residential remodels, he manages man power and assists in bidding large commercial projects. His field experience and vast knowledge of plumbing is an asset to every aspect of Twin Rivers.

Tari Messman
Tari has been with Twin Rivers Plumbing for 6 years – starting out as receptionist, accounts payable and service dispatch. For the last year, she has taken on the role of contract administrator and accounts receivable. When she is not at her desk, you can find her taking in a sporting event or out on the golf course.

Tim Hooker

Tim Hooker is a licensed by the State of Oregon and train certified by Local 290 Plumbers and Steamfitters in Plumbing, Gas Piping and OSHA 30.
He has been with Twin Rivers Plumbing for 16 years.; beginning as a shop person and now runs our largest projects as Foreman and Project Superintendent when needed.

Tim is results oriented and continually demonstrates his exceptional ability to manage and motivate co-workers, as well as, subcontractors. He has successfully managed multi-million dollar design-build project through coordinating trades, building positive rapport with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors and subcontractors.

SCOTT SHOCKLEY

Scott Shockley is one of our Journeyman/Foreman Plumber. He is licensed by the State of Oregon and Certified, Trained by Local Union #290 Plumbers and Steam Fitters. Has 14 years of plumbing experience and also in running large projects. Skilled in maintaining project schedules and budgets .He is an expert in Medical Gas and installed all the of it at the Sacred Heart, Riverbend Hospital, Medical Pavilion ,MRI and the Northwest specialty Clinic.
Scott's recent project experience includes; LCC Building 4,5,10 and 11 and the LCC Laundry. He currently project forman on the LCC Downtown Campus Residence.

Tony Trigg
Tony has been in the plumbing field for more than 32 years, and is highly respected in his field of service plumbing. Whether it be a drippy faucet, replacing a water heater, broken hose bib or water line, or installing new sinks in granite countertops, he is your man. Tony enjoys trips on his Harley with his wife, Maggie. Call the Tony/Tari team. They should be able to help you almost immediately.
